Welcome to Woodburn Lutheran School,

Many people are searching for quality Christian education in a safe environment for their children today. Woodburn Lutheran School could just be the answer to your prayers.

Woodburn Lutheran School has been in existence for over 53 years now. We are sponsored jointly by Christ Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Church. Each church had their own individual schools beginning in the 1890’s before joining together as Woodburn Lutheran School Association back in 1954.

Providing a Christ-Centered Education is the mission of Woodburn Lutheran School.

Proverbs 22: 6 – Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it – this Bible verse is often used by Lutheran schools to show the importance of providing this Christian influence in the communities they serve. Woodburn Lutheran School is proud to be part of over 1,000 Lutheran elementary schools across this country providing this Christ-Centered Education to our community.

As you look through some of these pictures of our school and other information on these web pages, you may want to come for a visit and learn more about what we have to offer.

Call the school office (260-632-5493) or leave an email message with principal Dexter Hoyer (dexhoyer@comcast.net) and we will set up a time for a visit. Quality Christian education can make all the difference to your children’s futures.
