Fully Rely On God
F.R.O.G.

The wonderful word of Psalm 27 reminds us
to Fully Rely on God. As Mr. Staub pointed out in his Wednesday morning chapel
service, Psalm 27:14 says “Wait for the Lord: be strong and take heart and wait
for the Lord.” That ‘wait’ means that we rely on the Lord for everything – our
salvation and all our needs. The book of Hebrews is filled with the stories of
people who lived lives of faith, relying on God’s promises in the Old Testament
and God’s fulfillment of those promises through His Son, Jesus, in the New
Testament. Thank you, Mr. Staub, for helping us focus on our theme and its
meaning.

DID YOU KNOW –
Woodburn
Lutheran School
graduates value
their time spent at WLS…
Josh Adams – WLS
class of 2005
– Good times, bad
times, best of memories, worst of memories. Woodburn Lutheran was the place. I
have so many memories there with friends, teachers, sporting events, and
worship. I remember Mr. Staub’s Christmas song, always getting Mrs. Schroeder
off topic, and giving Mr. Hoyer a hard time. I also learned a lot. Everything
my teachers taught me they related back to Christ. WLS not only gave me a good
education, but they showed me how Christ will be with me throughout my life in
everything I do. “Thank you” to the staff of WLS.
(Watch for more wonderful bits of information
about WLS for you to share with neighbors and friends.)

SCOUTS – We are looking for a new

interested, please let Jenny Osborn know.
